What about the weather? A friend of mine spent a couple of months in Texas when I was younger. All he did when he came back was complain about the humidity. Everything is shit in Commiefornia except the weather and the beaches.

Because they're two large metroplexes that bleed into each other, they're side by side and aren't far away enough from each other to be considered individual metros. I live in Dallas and going between here and fort worth takes like 10 or 15 minutes depending on traffic. Fort worth kind of sucks though, Dallas is better. Too many rednecks in Fort Worth

I left Texas 12 years ago or so for Colorado, and while this blue state annoys me with it's politics, I'm never going back.

Dallas isn't any better really I worked at a construction site in Dallas and the carparks were filled with homeless faggots sitting in front of the Aquarium building that just so happened to have been where our cars were parked. I watched 3 times where the cops had to chase the fuckers out of there cause they were trying to sleep INBETWEEN THE CAR SPOTS!

I grew up near San Antonio, went to college in central texas and med school in houston.

I enjoyed it growing up, because it really was a different vibe and unique culture. Good weather, Nice people. Crime was pretty low in the white areas and small towns, as the browns stayed in their wards in the cities. By the time I left, everything in the cities was just endless repetitions of the same national chain retailers, and the small towns have been ruined by price inflation.

Plus, all the commiefornians that moved in have spread their infection beyond Austin and the big cities. The population is now waaay beyond the carrying capacity for the water systems, and TxDOT sucks, so traffic never improves.

I wound up moving to the lower midwest, and never looked back.

I am from Laredo Texas. Its an amazing safe and cheap place to live with lots to see and do. A great place to start a family.
