Easy to learn how to service, probably one of the easiest handguns to disassemble, high-capacity mags, portable. I’d personally love a glock or a beretta but they’re a little more difficult to own here so I might have to settle for an antique 1911 for a while

No not at all iwb carry with trigger safety is dangerous trigger safety is just a retarded design that's unsafe to begin with. It was really only made for owb carry to be functionally safe and made for people that constantly needed to be ready to shoot quicker ie military or police but lots of police have accidentally discharges all the time with trigger safety pistols. That's more of a training issue than anything though.

I never had a ND, and I aways carried with one in the chamber, of course. Still, it didn´t feel right. It was custom made kydex and completely safe, but I aways felt uncomfortable while holstering the Glock iwb. Carried a 1911 for 12 years and aways felt completely safe when holstering in leather.

Not usually. 5.56 is usually but some do carry 7.62

You did everything safely and smart then if you never had discharges. I have seen some horror videos of Glock leg and Glock cock with iwb carry. That's mostly, as you know, usually because their shirt got caught in the holster but I've seen some guys been over to pick something up and because of how thin some of the iwb holsters can be the plastic kind of pulls the trigger enough to fire when they bent over. Oh leather yeah it can wear out over time near the trigger and it's able to pull the trigger enough if you move in a certain way happened to s guy sitting in his car.

They do in here. It doesn't matter much because they will only have the Glocks on them in 99% of situations.

Just train. That's literally all people need to do. Practice and train. Doesn't matter if you have a trigger safety only or a trigger safety and a manual safety. The trigger safety also doesn't slow down your draw to shoot time as much as people think, it still takes 2 seconds with either.

No it just means you're actually aware and serious about safety. A firearm with no safety for every day carry where you holster and unholster it routinely enough begs for an ND.

Shut right the fuck up. How many times have you stubbed your toe or hit your funny bone of slipped a drink? Have you not been using your legs, arms, and hands for your entire life? They are called accidents because repeat the same task over and over long enough and eventually you will do it incorrectly. This wont always result in an ND but no honest gun owner cannot tell me they have never missed their mark when attempting to reholster. Or fumbled a bullet while loading a magazine. Only difference is that little mishap could lead to a bullet bisecting your femoral leg artery and you bleeding out before the call to 911 connects, Or you permanently destroying whatever semblance of a leg/knee joint for the remainder of your life. It is the most complicated junctions of bone/sinew/cartilage/muscle in the body sans the hands but also has 60x the weight load put on it.

If you're so adamant about more training, train to twitch your thumb downward 3mm when preparing to fire. Chances of you being in a live fire under stress situation are very very very fucking minimal. Finger fucking your EDC is very much at least a twice a day activity and far more likely to produce an ND.

Probably the best-designed 9mm in terms of practicality. The small amount of parts is exceptional. But yeah, stock Glocks are poorly made. Looks like a little kid made it in comparison to an H&K USP. Still, for heavy duty use I would vastly prefer it. I once disassembled a USP Compact and had serious issues getting the trigger spring back into it. Never had such issues with any other gun. So that is that.

Most cops use the 9mm, nobody on this continent uses 10MM except for the anti polar bear units in Denmark
