She came up to the side of my car flanked by 5 other male officers like I was some big drug dealer or something, she had the male officers pat me down and put me in cuffs then in the back of a cop car. First time I've ever been arrested. It felt humiliating and the fact she went out of her way to question people in my neighborhood to see if I had been driving before without a license went above and beyond her duty as an officer. The judge didn't like that. I got the whole case dismissed.. but the crazy thing was, is that the prosecutor wanted to try and charge me with Grand Theft Auto because the car I was driving was my parents. Sometimes courts will do you dirty. I was told I should have sued the county but I never pursued it. I had my case dismissed and expunged so It doesn't really matter but still being arrested is EMBARRASSING. At least to me it is. And then having to call family/friends from jail to Bond you out makes it even worse. I had to use that crappy jail phone over the toilet. Fun stuff.

yeah I did a month. I was pretty scared when I was in court after getting popped for an assault case for the first time in my life. Judge sent me straight to jail without even having a word with me, fat ugly bitch was just there to power trip and girl boss, set my bond out of reach and my attorney wasn't present.

I had never been to jail before so I was expecting an absolute horror show, but I honestly thought it was a lot better than I was expecting. I was pleasantly surprised when everybody swarmed me and greeted me and everybody was pretty welcoming towards me, almost everybody was cool with me except one older white guy but he was much smaller than me and nobody liked him or listened to him when he popped off.

Couple of guys got fucked up in my pod and someone died from a drug overdose, but I was able to stay out of trouble and didnt pick up any additional charges.

Once. not technically 'jail'. It was the cell at the police station, for a drunken fight I may or may have not been involved in. I was released without charge the next morning.
Was OK. Breakfast was dire. Had a choice between a bowl of microwave porridge, or a microwave 'full english breakfast'. I went for the porridge. I had to wait around for a few hours in the cell before being released, and I got bored. Pressed the 'attention' buzzer near the door. Cops gave me the newspaper to read.

The first time I had a head injury and pulled a gun so I was put in the medical cell with like 15 other guys. they were all old and homeless and they put me in a cot on the floor next to the toilet and guys were walking up in the middle of the night and emptying their catheter bag right next to my head. one guy was in his 90s and couldn't make it to court so they kept arresting him for missing his court date.

I was in a cell with a guy that just slept all day and all everyone did was pace back and forth around the block to get some exercise, or watch the tv that we didn't have the controls to so it was loud as fuck.
one guy took a shit in the shower that we shared between 30 guys and they made us clean it up.
also 2 guys lost their minds and started screaming and banging on the door in the middle of the night and the CO (black woman) came in and just kept yelling ITS CUZZA DA ACKAHOL DA ACKAHOL. and took them both to solitary.
I remember making eye contact with one guy the entire time they were walking him out and he stared directly into my soul.
