I still run Windows 7 Pro on a desktop computer I built circa 2010. The perceived speed of running basic tasks feels like it's magnitudes faster than my newish Win 11 work laptop. I boot into my desktop within 15-20 seconds of pressing the power button. On my work laptop, it takes at least 2-3 minutes, then another 2 minutes to finally finish loading all the background applications.
